NSW: 72-yr old dies in single car crash
A 72-year-old man has died in a single car accident on the state's mid north coast.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash which occurredaround 6.50pm (AEST) at Coomba Park in the Manning-Great Lakes area near Forster.
Witnesses say the Ford Mondeo sedan was driving north on the Coomba Road when it leftthe road and slid down an embankment hitting a tree.
A post mortem examination will be conducted today.
The crash is being investigated by Forster police.
